This page is to objectively assist visitors in the selection of accreditation and/or registration - certification body (or registrar; conformity assessment - certification bodies list) to help businesses and governments to objectively and impartially achieve and maintain recognition of competence, namely certification of official management system. Selection of certification body is critical when an organization voluntarily opts for certification, when certification is forced or compulsory selection is simpler because you need to select the specific certification body imposed upon. Please note that we do not endorse any one specific accreditation service provider, certification - registration body or any subsidiary (namely registrar), regardless whether they sponsor us. This is an objective informative site and upon requesting assistance we will follow the criterion that follows; selection our policy requires that we advise you a minimum of three (3) certification - registration bodies or their subsidiaries registrars. The list of accreditation bodies is based on known accreditation guilds and accreditation systems and includes all official and legal accreditation bodies known available.

For inclusion to our listing of certification bodies - registration bodies must meet the following criteria:

Customer Satisfaction - We have verified with client / customers, through either personal contact or phone conversation, level of satisfaction given prior to, during and throughout certification - registration. Also we verify that audit teams meet the requirements set forth by the specific management system on the basis of ISO/IEC 17021... and that their competence is internationally and generally accepted to conduct assessment - audits in adhering to international expectations.

Ethics and others - We have verified for issues or practices to assure acceptable ethics and integrity and its purpose. This means that their specific protocols carry and assure a valid purpose to end-customers. These includes that certificate through registration bodies, such as: (a) performing audits with no competence, inclusive auditors in training with billing; (b) while permitted we consider conflict of interest, the issue of providing consulting, in-house training, administration of the in-house program, and combination of previous to the same organization under registration - certification; (c) conducting an excessive number of audits within a period of 12 months [as ethics code dictates and is construe as consulting, the reasonable limit and expectation is three (3) annum] as a mean to increase unethical billing, and (d) creation of compulsory schemes to create a business need by propitiating compulsory consulting and certification.

Note: If your organization provides certification and consulting as well in-house training and advice, please do need not request inclusion to the list of recommended certification - registration bodies and registrars, regardless if accreditation has officially been granted with combination of consulting and certification.

Following the international expectations under "accreditation" requirements and scheme The based criteria of operations that we recognize are ISO/IEC 17021, ISO/IEC 17020, ISO/TS 22003, ISO/IEC 27006 and other that relate to the requirements of ISO/IEC 17024:2003, and ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 15189]. While accreditation is not an imperative requirement in providing conformity assessment, accreditation with purpose and ethical provides confidence in granting certification, from a reputable accreditation services provider. Thereof we list registrars and certification - registration bodies which we have verified matters of integrity in relation to accreditation and which may contribute to the purpose and validity of your certificate of registration. The validity of your certificate, if these bodies do not follow the basic accreditation requirements ISO/IEC 17021 (as we indicate in the listing column on the right) and protocols, as set by the standards published by the International Organization for Standardization for accreditation protocols ISO/IEC 17011.

E.g. We verify that a Registration Body or Registrar's business units (of a centralized registration body) operations follows practices and that operating criteria is follow as set by International Standards). Also we verify that that these bodies do not provide consulting to the same organization under which registration is granted, as this is construe as conflict of interest and defies the purpose of namely accredited certification.
