The International Organisation for Standardisation has adopted a standard for information security. This standard, initially published in October 2000 and revised in 2005, is ISO/IEC 27002 | ISO/IEC 17799. The information securities issues makes businesses and users/customers less comfortable and thinking twice about e-commerce and the Internet as a global communication media.
